never, ever, accidentally drop the f-bomb while talking to yourself while working while staring in the vicinity of your father.
because you will be completely and utterly confounded at the dinner table when you greet him and instead of saying 'hi', he starts crying and your mom comes up to you asks you why you swore at your father and why you're so disrespectful and such a goddamn disgrace.
and also because watching your father drip tears into his rice and veggies isn't really the most appetizing thing ever and chances are you're really really hungry
sorry babe. it isn't much but i've been there before. it is never fun when you make your parents cry, especially when it is not your fault and you didn't mean it so you're angry but it's sad but oh just fuck it. things are wrong sometimes.
